Katie Cooney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Cooney of Lake Zurich, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cooney and Virginia Sullivan; and her grandparents, Dorothy, Raymond Siebert, Lorainne and Raymond Cooney.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jennifer Lane (John Lane) and Kristyn Cooper (Matthew Cooper); her nieces and nephews, Ashley Kendall, Austin Lane, Carter Lane, Eve Cooper and Ella Cooper; her great-nieces, Isabella Kendall and Gabriella Kendall; her great-nephew Anthony Kendall; and her boyfriend Ryan Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and at 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Mount St. Joseph (24955 US-12, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the St Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
