She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Tyson and Barbara Tyson; her grandfather Claude Dillard; and her sister Diana Tyson. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Layman; her children, Jasmine Alepra Abernathy (Vince) and Jason Layman (Joe Rouse); her grandsons, Kenneth Alepra and Joe Alepra; her children, Maggie Abernathy, Grayson Layman-Rouse and Blake Layman-Rouse; and her sisters, Regina Moore (Michael) and Jessica Tyson.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Lake Zurich (941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
