It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorene J Ahrens of Lake Zurich, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; and her parents, Sylvia and Carl. She is survived by: her daughters, Karin Walczak (Tony Gasero) and Gail Walczak; and her grandchildren, Dina (Mike), Ryan (Sarah), Taylor (Matt), Alex (Amanda) and Emily.
