William Francis Burns Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2023, at the age of 84, William Francis Burns of Lake Villa, Illinois, born in Wellsville, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Burns and Ruth Burns; his daughter Teresa Bunsen (Dennis); and his sisters, Patricia Wilson and Marilyn Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Roxanne Vatter (Tracy), Karen Burns and Lilynn Kattner (Paul); his grandchildren, Savannah Vatter, Jacob Vatter, Steven Peklay (Priscilla Kersey), Christopher Peklay (Zach McHardy), Kaelen Kattner, Joshua Kattner (Nicole), Emily Kattner and Erin Taylor (Eric); his son-in-law Dennis Bunsen; and his sister Barbara Carter (David). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
