She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGurk, Sr. and Virginia McGurk (Schweinsberg); and her sisters, Elizabeth Amaral (late Larry Amaral) and Janet Black (late Steve). She is survived by: her husband James McDermitt (Red); her children, Caroline Bongiorno (Tom), Connie McDermitt, Ernest McDermitt, Eric McDermitt and Ellen McDermitt; her grandchildren, Alia and Tommy Bongiorno; her siblings, Eleanor Ridgeway (late William), Helen LaSitis (late James), Miriam Dietz (late Richard), Nancy Ozog (late Lewis), George McGurk, Jr. (Beverly), Charles McGurk (Barb) and LuAnn Ladd (late William); and her friends, Marge Kaltenbach, Elaine Stevens, David Stevens, Janann Gardner, Charlene Hendrickson and Judy Hensel. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other family members and friends.
