He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Josephine; and his son Matthew Burchard. He is survived by: his wife Julie Burchard; his daughter Elizabeth Burchard; and his siblings, Barbara Berend (Dave), John Burchard, Bob Burchard (Diane), Kathy Burchard, George Burchard (Diana) and Jerry Burchard (Lori).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
