She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mathias Heuertz and Barbara Heuertz (Schwerdt); her husband Roger; her children, Lizabeth Isaacs (Mike) and Katie Miedona (David Ploss); and her grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob Isaacs.

The family asks that no flowers be sent, but instead donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or any other cancer research, in hope that one day fewer families will have to go through this type of loss.
