Smith Helton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Smith Helton of Lake Villa, Illinois, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Helton and Hulda Helton (Jackson); his wife Fanny Helton (Whitaker); and his daughter Velia Francis. He is survived by: his son Smith Ray Helton (Teresa); and his sisters, Magadlene "Maggie" Good and Irene Fairchild. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
