He was predeceased by: his father Roy Sr. Prouty; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Thielen and Richard Billimack. He is survived by: his mother Marian Prouty; his children, Dana (Ryan Kriz) and Kyle Prouty (Mauri); his grandchildren, Madeline, Maxwell, Myles, Maizie, Mollie, Millie, Hailey and Henry; his siblings, Linda Davies, Barbara Thielen, Donna Billimack and Allen Prouty; and his nieces and nephews, Cathy Thielen, Marianne Comp, Wynne Vrchota, Kate Roundy, Jacob Davies, Nate Billimack and Jesse Billimack.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Roy's honor where he attended for over 40 years.
