“Dear Marsha Dorfman Cairo and Family, We of the 8th Armored Division Association are saddened by the passing of your father, Corporal Morris Dorfman of Co. D, 18th Tank Battalion last week. We share your grief at the passing of another gallant warrior of WWII service who preserved freedom and liberty for us all. We express our deep sympathy and condolences at his loss at this difficult time. May you be comforted. But, we also remember his honorable service in the 8th Armored Division and are grateful for it.
