He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Hazel; and his brother Russell "Junior" Dewar. He is survived by: his wife Carole Conrad; his children, Dr. Sandra Schmitt (Mark), Gayle Nygaard and Robert Dewar (Robbyn); his grandchildren, Sarah Walker (Scott), Rebecca Moore (Kyle), John Schmitt (Mona), Ben Schmitt, Hannah Grace Schmitt, Paul Schmitt, Joe Schmitt, Natalie Nygaard and Nick Nygaard; and his siblings, Dennis Dewar (Sharon), Terry "Midge" Dewar (Pat), Roger Dewar (Lucy), Gerald Dewar (Joan) and Gloria Schneider (Gary). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
