He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sullivan and Anne Sullivan; and his aunts and uncles, John Sullivan (Maryann), Eleanore Sullivan, Mary Jane Podraza (Ted), Joseph Montvedas, Chuck Wassil and Edward Wassil.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rich (Joanne), Betty and Ed; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Laura, Mark, Ryan, Devin, Kelly, April and Ed Jr.; and his friend Nancy DeBiasi.

“I just found out about the passing of a warm hearted, good person. John didn't let his problems dictate his daily actions. He was happy, honest, joyful, warm and let you know you are important to him. If a issue presented he would simply shake his head as he walked away and carry on. I remember my first encounter with john at the carpenters christmas party at work. He entered in dressed as an elf, carrying gifts. Wow the would has lost a good man & elf. He will be missed joe krozel -mmpi”
