He is survived by: his sons, Jason Patterson of Lake Villa, IL and James Patterson (Jill) of Lake Villa, IL; his grandchildren, Jason Alberto, Kevin James, Leo Andrew Sherwood, Donald James Cashmore, Calvin Louis Patterson and Jamie Lynn Patterson; and his brother Patrick Patterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
