Joan Metzger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Metzger of Lake Villa, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mary C. Pfeiffer (Carl) of Redding, Joseph P. Metzger (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, Erich F. Metzger (Cathi) of Livermore and Jacqueline A. Bauer (Matthew) of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Amanda McCrary (Micah), Mitchell Metzger, Katherine "Kate" Pfeiffer, Ashley Metzger, Claire Pfeiffer, Thomas Bauer and Margaret Bauer; and her parents, Edward Allman and Kathleen Allman (Coan).
