He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hopkins and Eleanor Hopkins (Luzzato). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Roberts; his daughters, Cheryle Gara (Greg) and Carrie Shields (Justin); and his grandchildren, Kailey Gara, Brianna Gara, Greyson Shields and Jemma Shields.
