It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Turner of Lake Villa, Illinois, born in Guntown, Mississippi, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlie Lincoln and Mittie "Marie"; his wife Norma Grammar; his grandson Alan Smith; and his sisters, Louise of Lincoln, E. C. and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, James G. Turner of Lake Villa, IL, Rose M. Smith (Alan) and Amy Gosnell of Wisconsin Dells, WI; his grandchildren, Bryce, Chad Turner, Jacob, Amber, Brittany Smith, Terri Bucel (Kevin) and Joshua Gosnell; his great grandchildren, Kali, Ethan and Karson; and his siblings, Doug Turner (Doris) of Mississippi, Addie Pettigo of Mississippi, Bea Johnson of Mississippi, Pete Turner of Mississippi, Mae Johnson of Mississippi, Ann Williams of Mississippi, Lucile Franks of Mississippi and Dale Turner of Mississippi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
