With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Nelson (Lake Villa, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nelson and Clare Nelson (Amundsen); and his wife Jeanine Nelson (Dusek). He is survived by: his children, Heather Nelson, Brian Nelson (Kathy) and Carrie Lubkeman (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley, Nora, Henry Lubkeman, Ava and Joe Nelson; his sisters, Diane Clark and Debbie Leach (Terry); and his pet Inga.
