He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Swan and Doris Swan (Kruse). He is survived by: his wife Diane Swan (Fawcett); his children, Christen Valchar (Eric), James Swan II and Eric Swan (Julie); and his grandchildren, Clara Valchar, Molly Valchar, James Ludford-Swan and Jack Ludford-Swan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (135 S Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in James's name to the American Cancer Society or Northern IL Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
