He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy "Roy" and Ida; his wife June E. Crichton; his son Jeffrey Crichton; his brother James Crichton; and his foster sister Jean Hawkins McMillan.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Birdwell (Weldon), Donna Zdanek, Cathy Crichton, Thomas Crichton (Sherry) and Daniel (Patricia); his daughter-in-law Jill Crichton; and his sibling Dale Crichton (Kathie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
