He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Szimeth and Maria Szimeth (Gröschl). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Szimeth (Lorenz); his children, Cheryl Evans (Jim), Valerie Zawadzki (Ed), Melissa Keith (Dan) and Emil Andrew Szimeth; his grandchildren, Madison, Brooke, Abby, Taylor, Jackson, Isabelle and Lincoln; his sister Beate Szimeth; his nieces, Miranda VanWoerkom (Jeremy) and Brenna Weber (Adam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis, Xander, Sylvia and Olive.
