He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dankmeyer; his children, Shelly Daun, Kelly Mede (Mark Koopman), Jeffrey Michaelis (Trish) and Jody Johnson (Thomas); his grandchildren, Amanda Sparkman (Kevin), Jonathan Mede (Dawn), Lindsay Daun, Nicole Kalina (Stephen), Jaime Daun, Alyssa Johnson, Jake Michaelis, Ari Michaelis and Briana Johnson; his great grandchildren, Peyton Sparkman, Cole Sparkman, Chance Sparkman, Alexia Sparkman, Karsyn Kalina, Wyatt Kalina, Ella Mede and Bayliss Mede; and his brother Jim Michaelis (Dee).
