He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Deichsel and Luella Deichsel (Selk); his wife Joyce; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Monette of Cranbrook, British Columbia and Tom Deichsel (Libby) of Antioch, Illinois; his grandchildren, Asher, Felicity and Augustina; and his sister Jeanette Frechette. He is also survived by his family, friends.
