He is survived by: his wife Judy Dunfrund; his pet Oliver; his siblings, William Dunfrund (Beverly) and Babette Doolittle (Ed); his children, Ryan Butenschoen (DJ), Carrie Nelson (Shane), Amber Thurston (Chad), Carl Dunfrund (Stephan), Alex Dunfrund and Colin Dunfrund; his stepdaughters, Christine Parmley (Jared) and Jill Bays (Chris); and his grandchildren, Deighton Butenschoen, Hayden Butenschoen, Hunter Nelson, Makya Lordier, Cooilinn Hawrot, Declan Nelson, Cameron Thurston, Kody Thurston, Savannah Thurston, Jayden Dunfrund, Ryker Dunfrund, Sarah Parmley, Sammy Parmley, Brandon Bays, Brody Bays and Beckett Bays.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (1822 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mark Lutheran Church (1822 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046).
