He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Pop" Boland. He is survived by: his mother Joan Boland (Kopniewski); his sisters, Lori Pepel (Glen), Karyn Vandewalker (Kevin) and Jeanine Goldstein (Greg); his niece Sydney Pepel; his nephews, Logan Pepel, Matthew Vandewalker (Lauren), Zachary Vandewalker, Jordan Goldstein, Lucas Goldstein and Griffin Goldstein; his great-niece Aubree; his great-nephew Brayden; his aunt Shirley; his cousin Caitlyn; his aunts and uncles, Bill, Gail Boland, Sue, Rich Gross and Ellen; his pets, Dolly and Tootsie; and also Layla.
The Celebration of Michael's Life gathering has been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family.
