He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Teresa Castillo; his uncles, Cirilo Martinez, Saul Martinez and Adam Martinez; and his brother Jimmy Jesus Martinez.
He is survived by: his parents, Maria G. (Kevin Glover) and Jose J. Sr. Martinez (Alma); his brother Jose Juan Jr. Martinez (Eryka Marie); his grandparents, Delfina Martinez, Daniel Sr. Martinez, Martha Nunez, Ofelia Barraza, Jesus Gonzalez and Roseleah Glover; his aunts and uncles, Ana Quiroz (Juan Quiroz), Manuela Rubio (Juan Cisneros), Olga Peña (Eloy Peña), Yvette Rubio, Alonso Nava Kevin Nava (Kelly Nava), Teresa Martinez (Victor Ramirez) and Daniel Junior Martinez; and his nieces and nephews, Jose Juan III, Catalya Maria Martinez and S. S. Chevelle Martinez. He is also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial trees to be planted In Loving Memory of Jacob.
