It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Schaar of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Thodos and Mary Thodos; her husband Edmund Schaar; her sons, Jeff Schaar (Nikki), Rob Schaar (Lori) and Randy Schaar; her grandchildren, Chloe Jensen (Clark), Keegan, Cassidy, Brandon and Allison; and her brother Bill Thodos (Kathy).
