Virgil P. Ritacca Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil P. Ritacca of Lake Forest, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedeo Ritacca and Assunta Ritacca (Buccieri); and his sisters, Mary Belmonte and Claire Caringello. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Robert Ritacca (Janet), Daniel Ritacca, Christopher Ritacca (Annemarie) and Susan Ritacca (Todd White); his grandchildren, Robert S. Ritacca, Sara Ritacca, Maria Ritacca, Courtney Ritacca, Robert T. Ritacca, Nico Ritacca, Christopher J. Ritacca, Claire Ritacca and Isla Ritacca White; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Cooper, Madison Cooper, Enzo Ritacca and Lainey Ritacca.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (Christ Our Hope Parish) (134 North Ave, Highwood, IL 60040). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
