Susan Louise Armbruster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 76, Susan Louise Armbruster (Lake Forest, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lou Peterson and Marilyn Peterson; her children, Ben (Virginia), John (Kayla), Chris (Faye Koo) and Sally (Bob McCann); her grandchildren, Franklin Armbruster, Fiona, Blair, Elizabeth and Quinn McCann; her brother Bob Peterson (Patti); her nieces and nephews, Matthew, Allison and Andrew; her former husband Tod Armbruster; and also, George (Sue), Christine, Kate, Sarah (Bob Fell), Jessica and Sam.
To ensure Susan's legacy as an ardent advocate for teachers lives on, her children have established the Susan Armbruster Memorial Fund for Teachers that will support continuing education and classroom enrichment opportunities.
