He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Nevel (Brown) of Lake Forest, IL; his close friend Rebecca Callcott of Lake Forest, IL; his sisters, Linda Hurwich of Northbrook, IL and Ilene DeYoe (David) of Highland Park, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Lawrence, Sarah, Andrew, Mary, Emily and Peter.
