With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orietta Brunini of Lake Forest, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Orietta has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Silvio Brunini; and her brother Walter. She is survived by: her daughter Emma Schorsch (John) of Hawthorn Woods; her grandchildren, John Tammaro (Jennifer) of Davidson, NC, Reid and Laine; and her sister-in-law Frances Pieri of Highwood.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (770 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Orietta will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her dedication to family, and her contributions to her community.
