She was predeceased by: her father Dean Ladd Griffith; her sister Carol Solheim (late Glenn); her parents-in-law, John E. Jones and Elizabeth Lane Jones; and her siblings-in-law, John Davidson Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones.

She is survived by: her husband William James Jones; her sons, Wesley Jones and David Jones; her mother Lois Jo; her brothers, Scott Ladd Griffith and Brian Ladd Griffith (Susan McKinley); her siblings-in-law, Paul Alexander Jones (late Diane) and Anne Claranel Jones White (David Norris); her nieces and nephews, Bradley, Juliana MacKinnon (Andrew), Reid Solheim (Alissa), Colin, Mallory (Brody Peterson), Lauren Griffith, Alex, Julia Jones Essary (Kyle), Zachary (Monica), Paul Jones, Sarah White Jensen (Darrin), David (Emily) and Christopher White; her great-nieces and great-nephews, James MacKinnon, Eloise Solheim, Axel, Lucy White, Luke and Aubrey Essary; and her sons, John and Jesus.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christ Church (100 N Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
