Erin Joslin wrote a sympathy message

“I met Kris through a mutual friend and she was always such a treat to be around. Getting my hair done was a joy because I got to connect with her and learn about her life -- and she always had the best advice whether it was kids, community or relationships. She was such an amazingly kind, giving, sweet soul. While I have only known her for a few years, I feel blessed to have known her and will miss her dearly. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Johnny, Danny and her whole family.”

Tricia Anderson wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry for your loss, words cannot express enough the shock of learning about Kris’ passing. Our paths first crossed with the hand-off of the Newcastle home, and I remember Kris commenting after the closing that maybe our boys would be in the same class in school that fall and would become great friends - and it happened, almost as if she had a premonition! Kris was a special kind of soul, she could always see the best in people and was a friend to everyone. She will be missed.”

Heidi Christen wrote a sympathy message

“I met Kris two years ago through mutual friends when she began styling my hair. At our first meeting, I immediately knew that coming to see her was like coming to see a friend. She was such a warm hearted, joyful person. We would share stories about our kids, she was so proud of her boys and she would tell me about her summers at the lake in MN with family. She will be missed, know that she had a tremendous impact on those whose lives she touched. With love, Heidi Christen”

Richard PD wrote a sympathy message

“Kris was one of the most giving and generous persons that I ever met. She would volunteer multiple times per year at our shelter to cut the hair of our guests experiencing homelessness. She truly cared for the least of us and would take time to talk and get to know each person she came across. She brought a smile to dozens of people, but more importantly she provided them with something much greater...hope. She cared for strangers, she loved her family and friends, and she adored her two boys.”

Nancy Gaffney wrote a sympathy message

“I can remember the first time I met Kris. Within five minutes I knew we would be friends. She was warm, welcoming, funny, kind and a great listener. She was the best mom. To watch her with her boys or how she would talk about them, made you want to be a better mom. I am heartbroken over the news of her passing just can't wrap my brain around someone with so much life and so much love to give not being her on earth but I know she is with Jesus. I will never forget her.”
