He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas Benton (Gayle) and Cynthia Rasmussen (Ron). He is survived by: his wife Betty Hook Benton; his children, Bradley Christopher Benton (Kari) and Lauren Marie Schmanski (Chris); his grandsons, Christopher Colton Schmanski and Matthew John Schmanski; and his siblings, Richard Zbinden (Louise Ganong), Klamath Falls, John Benton (Jenice), Margery Aagaard and Suzanne Kiddoo (Duane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
