He was predeceased by: his mother J. Dolores Samano; and his siblings, Luis Samano Guzman and Estela Samano. He is survived by: his son Arturo Samano; and his brothers, Roberto Samano Guzman and Isaias Samano Guzman. He is also survived by siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
