Sophia Nikolich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sophia Nikolich of Lake Barrington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sophia Nikolich to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jozef Kolota and Natalia Kolota (Gawrychowska); her husband John; and her siblings, Stella Kielczewski and Kazimierz Kolota.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Annette) and Gregory (Tricia); and her grandchildren, Reed (Lena Nelson), Tyler (Jordan Voller), Juliana and Emily.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Anne Catholic Community Church (120 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010).
