He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Laverne Merwin and Helen Margaret Boyce (Boyce); his stepmother Helen Kelly; and his siblings, James Thomas Merwin, Jack Clifford Merwin and Marilynn Joanne Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Glena Lee; his children, Jayne Griese (Jeff) of Barrington, IL, Kendra Hanrath (Jon) of Naperville, IL, LeAnne Frazier (Kevin) of Fort Collins, CO, Kedrik Merwin (Sarah) of Traverse City, MI and Aaron Merwin (Kristin) of Isanti, MN; his grandchildren, Helen, Hannah, Heather, Hans (Griese), Carson, Frances, Lily (Hanrath), Kirk, Mitchell, Tyler, Adam, Anna, Madeline, Chloe, Ked (Merwin), Paige, Andrew, Caleb and Jordan (Merwin); and his great grandchildren, Matias, Violet, Beatrice, Halia, Kaya, Piper, Cady, Peyton, Harper, Abigail, Nathan, Eleanor, Gracyn, Penelope, Holden and Elanor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's name may be made directly to the Boy Scouts of America or Millikin University.
