With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Bennett of Lake Barrington, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; and her parents, Herman Riedel and Leone Riedel. She is survived by: her children, Susan, Stephen (Lisa) and David (Diane); her grandchildren, Sophie, Lindsey Cox (Dan), Lauren Gustin (Nate), Matthew, Kimberly (Max Arpadi), Mark and Scott; and her great grandchildren, Kassidy, Kayleigh and Bradley.
Due to Covid restrictions, attendance for the service is limited.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mark Episcopal Church, or to the Barrington Historical Society.
