With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita L. Martinkus of Ladd, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron "Jake" Tanari and Flora Tanari (Fanti). She is survived by: her sons, Mark J. Martinkus of Ladd and Garrett F. Martinkus (Jane) of Snohomish, WA; her granddaughters, Savannah and Chloe Martinkus; and her sisters, Toni Stank (Chuck) of Ladd and Lorna Baird (Rich) of Dalzell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
