He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bankes and Queenie Bankes (Dock); and his sister Marlene. He is survived by: his son Brian Bankes (Brenda) of Ladd; his granddaughter Ashley of Ladd; and his great grandchild Izabella of Ladd.
