He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Ford and Gertrude Headlee Ford; his son Kent Richard Ford; his brother Lynn Ford; and his brother-in-law Richard Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Essig; his children, Nina Dippel (Jim), Linda Glaser (Ed) and Steve Ford (Becky) of St; and his sister-in-law Patti Ford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
