He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Kenyon and Mabel Kenyon (McDonald); his son Rickey Kenyon; and his siblings, Harold Kenyon, Florence Barnes and Imogene Rickey.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine Dawson; and his daughter Vickie Shover (Joseph) of Low Point, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
