She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hankins and Mary Hankins (Humphrey); her husband Paul Nighswonger Sr.; her daughter Mary June Simms; her father-in-law Howard Simms; and also, Glenn, Virgil Hankins and Lewis Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Fechter of Hopewell, Paul Nighswonger Jr. of Chillicothe and Asa Nighswonger (Patricia) of Sparland; her sister Ida Dalrymple of Henry; and her grandchildren, Lisa Scheffert (Eric) of Dunlap, Lila Schmick (Troy) of Dunlap, Asalynn Wright (late George) of Lafayette, KY, Lennie Strong (Susan) of Sparland and Chris Nighswonger (Casey) of Spring Bay. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
