She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Roth and Maude Roth (Pickerell). She is survived by: her husband Alvin "Al" Merdian; her children, Kathy Hafley of Magnolia, Jean Forbes of Wyoming, Charles Merdian of Magnolia and Alvin Merdian of Toluca; and her brother Charles Roth of Morton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great- grandchildren.
