He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Jack" and Eileen Hefner (Stites); and his brother-in-law William Welk. He is survived by: his wife Kit Swahlstedt of Granville; his sons, Michael Hefner (Michelle) of Morton and Kyle Hefner of Florida; and his siblings, Donna Willgrubs (Mel) of El Paso, TX., Myra Young (Dale) of Brimfield, Myna Aiello (Mike) of Peoria and Marion "John" Hefner (Bonnie) of Mattoon. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
