She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Towne and Marie Towne (Argubright); her husband Edgar W. Phillips; her daughter Candace Phillips; her grandson Nathan Berogan; her siblings, Caleb "Tippy" Towne, Jerry Towne, Janet Small and Suzie Pinter; and her son-in-law Carl Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Brown of Peru, Lou Ann Grimes (Jason) of Serena, Bonnie Bixby of Cary and Edgar T. Phillips of La Salle; her grandchildren, Rachel, Cheryl, Joshua, Alyssa, Whitney, Adam, Kira, Trevor, Luke, Joel, Kirsten and Michael; her great grandchildren, Scotty, William, Ryker, Brinley and Grady; and her brother James Towne of Peru.
