She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Murphy Sr.; and her son James J. Murphy Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Andrew Kuhar and Mary Kuhar (Baskovich); her children, Bill Murphy (Cathy) of Crystal Lake and Kathy Topolski (Don) of Varna; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Murphy of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
