He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Lipka and Wilhelmina "Wilma" Lipka (Kleefeld); his siblings, Lois Lipka, Phyllis Waskiewicz, Robert Lipka and Lyle Lipka; and his granddaughter Jennifer Sharpe.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bacidore of La Salle; his daughters, Mary Sharpe (Ray) of Peru and Sharon Varney (Kev) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Dr. Michelle Vasquez (Joel), Randy Sharpe (Heidi), Matthew Varney (Marisa) and Megan Varney; and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Camden Vasquez, Brooklyn and Bentley Sharpe.
