It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Nicholas Trunk of La Salle, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Edward Trunk and Judith Lenore Trunk (Camenisch); his wife Lori Trunk (Myler); his stepfather Richard Cosgrove; and his siblings, Timothy Trunk and Amy Cosgrove.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Penny Johnson of LaSalle; his son Steven Trunk (Beth Shrum); his stepdaughter Nikki Hill of Springfield, Missouri.; his siblings, Mary Twardowski (Trunk) of Ottawa, Eric Trunk of Ottawa, Anna Lijewski (Cosgrove) of Peru and Brian Trunk of Peoria; his stepmother Patsy Trunk of Peoria; and also, Lorianna Trunk and Elora Trunk of Peru. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
