He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edmund Konczak and Anna Konczak (Jones); his son Darren Konczak of Fort Worth, Texas; and his sisters, Marcella Slinde and Helen Janz.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brannan (Betty) of La Salle; his son Bryant Konczak of LaSalle; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Konczak of Peru, Anna Konczak, Noah Konczak of Norfolk and Jack Konczak of Peru.
