He was predeceased by: his significant other Bonnie Morris Friend; and his siblings, Johnny Friend, Dale Friend, Eugene Friend and Dolores Carque.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Friend Jr. of Bradenton, FL and Frank Anthony (Jessica); his friends, Destin Morris and Oriel Morris; and his grandchildren, Kaya Maddix Morris, Madison Elaine Friend and Nina Caprice Friend. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
